Lunar New Year is a major celebration in East Asian countries like China, Korea and Vietnam, usually spent with families. However, not everyone can go back home and spend time with relatives.
That’s why Save the World Club, a charity based in Kingston, has organised a social gathering, so that people can celebrate and bond with the community even when far from home.
At this annual event, visitors can participate in activities like making dumplings, crafting paper lanterns and practising Chinese calligraphy.
2026 is the year of the Fire Horse, which symbolises boldness and passion, and this community event perfectly captures this energy.
