Kingston Police have appealed for witnesses and any information surrounding the death of a 24-year-old man in the vicinity of Fairfield Road on Thursday evening.
Police have launched an investigation after the man was found with fatal stab injuries at around 22:30pm, the Metropolitan Police said in a statement.
The victim died at the scene despite the efforts of London Ambulance Service and London Air Ambulance.
The man has not yet been named.
Detective Chief Inspector Wayne Jolley said: “Our investigation is in its very early stages but currently we believe that the victim was attacked in Fairfield Road. He then made his way to Fairfield East where he went into a pub garden and customers provided initial assistance and called the emergency services.”
