Anti-Muslim hate crime on rise in London
Tell MAMA, an independent organisation that tackles cases of Islamophobia, has recorded the highest number of anti-Muslim hate cases in 2024 since its founding.
The highest number of Islamophobic cases reported to Tell MAMA were in Greater London, almost doubling from 1,028 in 2023 to 1,819 in 2024.

From 1 April 2025, stamp duty will increase significantly for first-time buyers in South East London, rising by more than £11,000 in some boroughs.
The biggest jumps will hit areas like Greenwich, Lewisham, Bexley and Bromley, where homebuyers will see their upfront costs nearly triple.
M25 weekend closures expected to cause disruption amid junction 10 upgrade
