On Mother’s Day, after two years of being away, Kingston’s Spring Raceday was back with a new 20 mile route.
The event was hosted by Quicksilver Running, which is a running organisation that host events to cater for all runners.
Quicksilver running was founded by Peter Wedderburn who has experience in event organising and running and takes part in his own events.
The start and finish line were in the historical marketplace in Kingston where runners could enjoy the historical sites. Pubs and local businesses came together to offer food after the race.
Despite the grey skies there were many smiles from runners who were proud of their accomplishments.
