The self-proclaimed ‘most dog-friendly restaurant’ Megan’s opened its first new branch of 2022 at the Griffin in Kingston upon Thames on February 28.
Megan’s is an independent neighbourhood group of restaurants that began as an antiques shop on Kings Road in Chelsea in 2002.
The restaurant has since then spread to a number of boroughs in London, such as Battersea, Balham and Clapham. It known for its al fresco dining experiences, Mediterranean-influenced cooking and offers dog beds for guests’ furry friends.
General Manager Katie Avery said: “Our mission statement as Megan’s is to be the most loved neighbourhood restaurant and Kingston is such a beautiful neighbourhood.
“We can really accommodate every kind of person that steps foot in Kingston and in Megan’s.”
Megan’s announced on Instagram that it would donate £25,000 to three charities providing humanitarian aid in Ukraine.
The restaurant group also offers 20 per cent of its water sales to local charities.
Megan’s at The Griffin is open for lunch, dinner, cocktails and bottomless prosecco brunches over the weekend.
The next Megan’s in south-west London is set to open at 13 Hill Street, Richmond, TW9 1SX this summer.
