Swans FC is set for expansion in the new year
A football club for women aged 18 and over, Swans FC, is set to expand in 2026.
Swans FC, which brings together women at sessions in Kingston, Richmond and across Southwest London, aims to create multiple new teams and increase community participation.
Founder Eamonn Newell said the club was about a strong commitment to women’s football and the aim now was to encourage participation from women, regardless of age or ability. He said the club hoped to attract women with all abilities or who felt football did not cater for them.
