Campaign Against Arms Trade (CAAT) organised a protest outside the annual ADS dinner which took place at JW Marriott Grosvenor Hotel, Park Lane London.
ADS is the trade organisation representing the aerospace, defence, security and space industries in the UK. Attendees of the dinner included members of ADS, arms dealers, politicians and other affiliates.
On March 23 CAAT and other protestors gathered outside the hotel in central London to demonstrate in front of the attendees of the dinner. Those who attended the dinner are contributors to the arms trade to Saudi Arabia and the Saudi-led coalition which is responsible for the destruction in Yemen.
The protestors said they were all outraged that people and governments will gladly trade arms with a country such as Saudi Arabia especially when they are aware of the damage the arms are causing.
