British singer FKA Twigs met with fans at Banquet Records in Kingston on Friday, 24 January, the day she launched her new album, EUSEXUA.
Queues to meet Twigs, who is known for her unique musical style, stretched along Ashdown Road to the record store’s location on Eden Street.
Cam Williamson, a Kingston resident who queued up to meet the artist, said: “There was a bit of a delay — I think due to traffic — but it was so sick to meet her in person.”
Williamson was one of dozens of fans to get a signed vinyl copy of EUSEXUA. The project, Twigs’ third studio album, was released on the same day that she visited Kingston.
He added: “I’ve been a fan since Magdalene and was obsessed with Caprisongs, so going to the signing of EUSEXUA on release day in my local town was a big deal.”

Twigs has described the album as “a state of being. A feeling of momentary transcendence often evoked by art, music, sex, and unity”.
EUSEXUA is available to buy on vinyl or CD in Banquet Records and can be found on all major streaming services.
