Four fire engines attended a fire in an apartment block on Penrhyn Road, Kingston this morning. It took 25 fire fighters to bring the fire under control and extinguish it.
The cause of the fire is still being investigated London Fire Brigade reported on Twitter: “We have no reports of any injuries at this time.”
The A240 Penrhyn Road was closed between Surbiton and Kingston due to the fire and people were advised to avoid the area.
The road has now reopened.
