Spooky season has arrived and we have gathered the best of what Kingston Upon Thames has to offer this Halloween weekend. Whether you’re looking for a night-out with friends or a child-friendly spooky event there is plenty to in Kingston this Halloween. Kingston’s Halloween Party Guide

Theatre and interactive activities for the family

The Rose Theatre is bringing back some of your favourite people from history with the Horrible Histories – Gorgeous Georgians & Vile Victorians production. Want to spend your Halloween dancing Tyburn jig, partying with Queen Victoria, or being saved by Florence Nightingale? Head to the Rose Theatre where the production will run from 29 October to 1 November. Tickets start at £21.50 with showtimes at 11 am and 12 pm (midday).

Become an alchemist for the night at Lush’s Halloween Spooktacular event on 31 October. The cosmetic shop is hosting a Halloween themed shopping experience where you can make your own potions, bath bombs and participate in trick-or-treat games. The event will take place at Lush Cosmetics Kingston with tickets starting at £18.80.

Alternatively the Kingston Quaker Centre is hosting a Monkey’s Musical Halloween special on 31 October. Characters Lucy and Monkey will be dressed up and ready to sing, dance and play. Tickets start at £17.

Nightlife

The Cornerstone pub is hosting a Halloween party with a DJ and a Dress to Impress competition on 31 October. The best costume will be awarded a bar tab. Want free entry and free drinks for the night? Dress up. The event runs from 8 pm to 11.30 pm.

Also on 31 October, The Fighting Cocks pub is throwing a Halloween celebration rock ‘n roll style. Described as the “slaughterhouse with a soundtrack”, the pub’s Carnival of Carnage party will feature four heavy metal bands: Kingston natives Swearwolves, Burnt Chapter, Kabin and Karnivrous along with a fancy dress competition. The event starts at 7 pm, tickets start at £6.

Circuit is hosting two Halloween parties on 31 October and 1 November. The Cirque du Circuit club night is for those wanting to celebrate Halloween all night long. The event starts at 10.30 pm on both days and includes a best dressed competition. Tickets start at £5.
