Plant-based revolution alive in Kingston

Approximately 16% of the British population follows a meat-free diet, with even more meat-eaters wanting to make the switch.

Bustling crowds at a recent artisan plant-based market in Kingston’s Ancient Market showed that the plant-based revolution is well and truly in action.

To learn more about plant-based lifestyles, we spoke to the founders of two vegan businesses; Jan Taube of vegan street food vender Chiki Monkey, and Gemma Cockrell of all-natural skincare company Puremess.

We talked about what inspired them to set up their businesses, advice on consuming ethically, and what popular products have driven their commercial success.
