Locals took part in a workshop dedicated to South Korea’s most famous food
The 7th Kimjang festival took place at the New Malden Methodist Church on Saturday 22 November. The festival celebrated South Korean culture with a kimchi workshop where attendees learned how to make the dish themselves.
Attendees learned how to prepare the dish together.
The festival was organised by chef Justina Jang, who previously held a Korean culture festival in Central London.
Jang taught the kimchi workshop alongside chef Cindy Robert. Robert has been visiting South Korea regularly for the past decade where she learned how to prepare authentic Korean food with locals.
