Camden People’s Theatre (CPT) is a performance space that aims to promote innovative, adventurous theatre by supporting emerging artists in the first steps of their careers.
The theatre is currently celebrating its 30th anniversary and has cemented its place in the London arts and culture scene by providing an initial platform for internationally renowned theatre companies, TV stars and West End performers.
Award-winning writer and performer Chris Thorpe said: “One of the wonderful things about CPT is it allows artists to develop and experiment. This is the place where you go in London to see artists from all over the country working out and perfecting their voices and what they want to say.”
The celebrations brought together past and present CPT collaborators, with the theatre aiming to raise £100,000 to mark the anniversary and to help expand its services in 2025.
