Ipads and other Apple products were stolen from John Lewis in Kingston at a late night break-in on Tuesday night.
Burglars broke a window panel in one of the main doors at the department store at around 10pm on Tuesday.
Police said two people were seen running away from the shop and heading towards the town centre.
A Kingston police spokeswoman said: “On Monday, December 12, around 10pm Kingston Council‘s CCTV control room alerted police to a break in at John Lewis department store on Wood Street,Kingston.
“The suspects entered by smashing through the glass panel doors at the Kingston Bridge junction with Horse Fair entrance.”
Several electrical items were stolen including a number of Ipads.
A spokesman for John Lewis confirmed that there had been a break-in at the Kingston store.
The branch is trading as normal and a police investigation has been launched.
