Police release a photofit of would-be abductor after Kingston incident

Police are trying to track down a man they believe tried to abduct a young woman in Kingston.<--break->“>The man, who was driving a black Range Rover Sport car with a cream interior, pulled over to ask for directions in Orchard Road, Kingston, at 4am on Sunday, August 21.</p>



<p>He introduced himself as Sonny and appeared well-educated.</p>



<p>The 23 year old was giving him directions when he insisted on giving her a lift home. When she refused, he tried to forcefully lift her off the ground and put her in the back of his car.</p>



<p>The woman managed to quickly free herself and get away safely. The would-be abductor then drove away, turning right at a no entry sign, and fled towards Kingston Bridge.</p>



<p>He is described as an Asian-looking man, approximately 24 to 28 years old, of medium build and with hazel/brown eyes. He was wearing a short-sleeved T-shirt and dark coloured jeans.</p>



<p>The police are still looking for the suspect and no one has been turned in yet, as of 15/12/2011.</p>
