<p>The Football Association annually holds the FA Trophy tournament, a knockout cup competition that is primarily played by semi-professional teams.</p>

<p>The match was played on Saturday afternoon at Kingsmeadow Stadium, home of the K’s.  Before the match, Alan Dowson, Kingstonian manager, said, “Brentwood are one of the best teams I’ve seen this season and I have watched a lot of games.  They will be in the top two or three in their league at the end of the season…It won’t be easy.”</p>

<p>The first half of the match was riddled with missed opportunities for each team, and even though they dominated possession, Kingstonian looked confused and disorganised much of the half. </p>

<p>After a scoreless first half, striker Craig Mullen was substituted for Wade Small of Kingstonian, and immediately made his presence felt, scoring in the 52nd minute on a beautifully chipped shot to the top right corner of the goal.  Later, Dowson said he felt that Mullen changed the game for Kingstonian.</p>

<p>But when it looked like Kingstonian’s Andre McCollin had a definite scoring opportunity in the 58th minute, Brentwood Town defended and turned it into an equaliser at the other end by Alex Read.</p>

<p>Within minutes, Kingstonian capitalised on a corner kick, taking the lead once again with a header from Tom Hutchinson.  Throughout the second half, the K’s appeared to have rediscovered their chemistry, especially Mullen and McCollin, who created several chances for each other.  </p>

<p>Just when it seemed the K’s had the win, Brentwood Town’s Darren Blevitt delivered a header off a corner kick that was undefended by Kingstonian.</p>

<p>The replay will take place at Brentwood Town’s home grounds on Tuesday, 13th November at 6:45 pm.</p>

<p>Dowson said, “[Brentwood] think they’re through. I don’t. I think we’ll win it at their place.”</p>
